About This Grant

To assist in the continuation of existing local projects or to assist in funding a new project that helps meet the needs of the growing Gunnedah community. Community Small Grants must: address existing gaps in service or community development or issues outlined in the Gunnedah Shire Social Plan; or promote community development and seek to address issues of access and equity. Sports Small Grants must: improve participation in their organisation or sports activities; address safety concerns; or support, train, and enhance volunteers.

Eligibility

Community and Sporting Groups located within the Gunnedah Shire; applicants must be: non-profit and community based; incorporated bodies or auspiced by a local incorporated organisation.

Legal requirements: Nonprofit legal entity (inc. assn, company, coop. or trust), Unincorporated, auspiced

Exclusions

Recurring funding requests; retrospective funding; applicants are only eligible for funding once every two (2) years; projects that have received funding from the State or Federal Governments or other sources including Council for the same purposes applied for in the current round.
