By Invitation / relationship. The Fund was established in honour of Dame Merlyn Myer and is led by her four grandaughters. Dame Meryl was the second wife of Melbourne retail businessman Sidney Myer (later Sir Sidney). Before passing Merlyn was a member of the Board of Management for the Royal Melbourne Hospital and a member of the National Council of the Australian Red Cross Society.
