About This Grant

The trust works internationally to enhance public service outcomes for vulnerable citizens, by supporting a range of partners, including charities, research bodies, and social enterprises. Charitable causes that somehow relate to Serco’s broad areas of operational expertise: Defence; Justice & Immigration; Transport; Health; Citizen Services.

Eligibility

Not-for-profit organisations which operate in the public service sphere, across Europe, Asia-Pacific, North America, and the Middle East, including: new and innovative approaches to the delivery of public services; programmes and charities supporting vulnerable citizens; academic research for public benefit; programmes that foster skills development in the public sector. Potential projects: will be focused on improving outcomes for citizens; have no potential for conflict of interest; provide scope for the foundation to improve efficiency or effectiveness; existence of a clearly identified role for the Serco Foundation; potential to engage Serco employees; sustainability of the project / programme.

Legal requirements: Nonprofit legal entity (inc. assn, company, coop. or trust), Incorporated society/group, Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR1), Registered Charity, Not for profit
