About This Grant

NEiTA has been recognising and rewarding exceptional and inspirational teachers for nearly three decades. It is the longest running, community-based awards program to recognise teaching excellence in Australia and New Zealand and is proudly supported by Futurity Investment Group. The awards are offered annually.

Eligibility

Qualified and registered educators and directors in early childhood centres, and teachers and principals in primary, special and secondary schools who: have a minimum of two years' teaching experience in Australia or New Zealand; are currently employed at a minimum average of: 0.6 FTE plus a week (primary, special, and secondary teachers); or 28 hours a fortnight (kindergarten and preschool teachers teaching pre-prep programs).

Legal requirements: School, P&C Assn or P&F Assn, Individual, School, Individual

Exclusions

Educators or directors who have received a NEiTA Award within the last three years.
