About This Grant

Wage subsidies provide a financial incentive to eligible employers when considering the employment of job seekers with disability or with other barriers to employment.

Eligibility

An organisation must: have a valid Australian Business Number; have an account registered with Workforce Australia Online for Businesses. New ongoing employment positions offering at least 15 hours of work per week (full time, part time, casual or traineeship or apprenticeship positions). Other eligibility criteria will apply, contact a provider to get more information on eligibility and how wage subsidies can be tailored to suit your business.

Exclusions

The position is: already getting government funding; a commission-based role; a self-employment or subcontracted role; filled by an immediate family member; filled by someone you've employed in the last 2 years.
