The Foundations mission is to help people in Australia and overseas access the resources they need to live safe, healthy, dignified and spiritually connected lives. To honour the families’ heritage by supporting the continuity of their faith and community and ensuring a strong and vibrant culture in Australia. To improve the lives of vulnerable women, youth and children in Australia. To support a cohesive and inclusive society and ensure a sustainable future for those in the wider community.

The Foundation provides financial support to over 120 various organisations in fields as diverse as health and research, welfare, the arts, education, and women's enterprises in the local community and in developing countries. On a local level, Spotlight, Anaconda & Harris Scarfe respond to hundreds of requests for support each year from organisations including childcare centres, kindergartens, schools, churches and community groups, They assist with sponsorship for annual events, such as Red Nose Day and engage in long term corporate partnerships with organisations such as the Starlight Foundation.
