About This Grant

AMaGA’s annual awards program is dedicated to celebrating, acknowledging, and showcasing achievement within Australia’s museum and gallery sector. This peer-reviewed initiative, shines a spotlight on excellence in the sector, ranging from publications and branding projects to exhibitions and public programming. Project Awards: Community Connection; Exhibiting Excellence; First Nations Project; Social Impact; Art of Expression; Digital Interface; Excellence in Print; e-Excellence in Print; Kids in Print; Moving Image; Virtual Canvas. Occasional Award: Patrons Award.

Eligibility

Non-commercial collecting institutions across Australia, including but not limited to museums, galleries, libraries, archives, and historical societies.

Legal requirements: Tax Concession Charity (TCC), Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR1), Academic institution, Aboriginal Community-Controlled, Nonprofit legal entity (inc. assn, company, coop. or trust), Unincorporated, auspiced, ACNC Registered Charity

Exclusions

Commercial galleries; auction houses; publishing interests; individuals; international applicants.
