The Foundation’s focus is on creating strong, resilient and inclusive communities across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific. They work in partnership with community organisations, with a focus on climate resilience and inclusion — two areas where they believe they can have the greatest impact. They work closely with community partners to create long-term, sustained impact in the community. In addition to funding, they work in collaboration with community partners to support events, fundraising, advocacy, volunteering and to seek out other ways to support their work.

Each divisional QBE Foundation Committee assesses partnership applications against the global and divisional strategic objectives, and global eligibility criteria. Each Committee assesses not-for-profit organisations based on their alignment with the Foundation's vision, requiring these organisations to demonstrate engagement opportunities for local employees and real community impact.
