The National Excellence Awards for Social Work showcase social workers, researchers and students who exemplify the best of the profession’s values, achievements and accomplishments. The Awards acknowledge those who exemplify the best of the profession’s values, achievements and accomplishments through demonstrated practice. Categories: Social Worker of the Year; Social Work Researcher of the Year; Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Social Worker of the Year; Social Work Student of the Year.

Nominees must be a current financial member of the AASW and be of good standing with the AASW.
