About This Grant

Strategic winners are privately selected on the basis of their ongoing, high impact work addressing the climate change funding priorities. Australian Ethical use their strategic funding to try and support and scale effective climate change projects. Priorities include: Helping stop sources of carbon; Supporting carbon sinks; Empowering women & girls. They seek to create grassroots and systemic impact in line with 3 themes: Place-based nature solutions (empowering First Nations and other communities to protect and restore nature); unlocking capital for nature; climate justice and resilience (supporting advocacy campaigns and programs).

Eligibility

Non profit organisations with: an Australian Business Number (ABN) and an Australian Bank account. Or, an Auspice arrangement with an organisation that meets all the eligibility criteria above. Organisations must be based in Australia, but can have their operations conducted overseas.

Legal requirements: Academic institution, Nonprofit legal entity (inc. assn, company, coop. or trust), Unincorporated, auspiced, ACNC Registered Charity
