About This Grant
The Clontarf Foundation operates academies in schools across Australia to improve education, discipline, life skills, self-esteem, and employment prospects for young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men. While Clontarf does not offer direct grants to individuals, schools and communities can partner with the Foundation to establish or expand academy programmes.
Each academy provides a structured programme of mentoring, sport, cultural activities, and employment preparation integrated into the school day.
Eligibility
Schools and communities with significant Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander male student populations. Partnership model requires school commitment and student engagement.
How to Apply
Schools should contact Clontarf directly to discuss partnership feasibility. Student numbers, community support, and school leadership buy-in are key factors.
Barayamal Tip
Clontarf is one of the most successful First Nations education programmes in the country. If your school has significant Aboriginal male enrolment, this is worth exploring. Ask existing Clontarf schools about their experience first.
