The Fund aims to improve the evidence base for social policy interventions to reduce disadvantage, to help grow social impact investing in Australia. The fund will make payments to state and territory governments and directly to service providers and social enterprises. Payments depend on how service providers achieve the fund’s goals. The fund aims to reduce disadvantage in Australia through innovation. Focus Areas: Supporting families and children; Overcoming barriers to employment; Supporting people facing homelessness.

Projects under the Outcomes Fund are selected by the Australian Government. They are delivered in partnership with state and territory governments, service providers and social enterprises.
