About This Grant
The Foundation focuses on supporting grassroots initiatives where funding makes a significant and lasting difference for Australians in need. Applications are invited for programs that focus on: Financial Literacy for Young Australians – Initiatives that improve financial literacy and education for individuals under the age of 25; Financial Literacy for Wellbeing – Financial literacy programs for disadvantaged Australians including individuals experiencing mental health challenges, social isolation, domestic violence, homelessness, or poverty, as well as First Nations peoples and Refugee & Migrant communities; Financial Literacy for Women – initiatives that advance financial literacy for disadvantaged women across Australia.; Financial Literacy for Regional and Remote Australia – Programs that build financial literacy in regional and remote Australia.
Eligibility
Future2 welcomes applications from a wide range of organisations, including causes, charities, not-for-profits, and community programs that meet the following criteria: organisations are not required to be registered charities or have Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status; priority will be given to grassroots programs where funding can have a direct and visible impact; organisations with annual revenue exceeding $5 million or with more than 15% government funding are not eligible; all applications must be endorsed by a financial services professional who has a genuine association with the program (for example, through involvement in the initiative or by providing pro bono support); the applicant and nominator must reside in the same State or Territory. If not, an explanation of the working relationship must be provided.

Exclusions
Individuals; Government entities, for example, government departments, statutory bodies and organisations wholly funded by government; organisations with more than 15% Government funding; organisations with an annual revenue of over $5 million; Religious groups, except for programs that support a non-religious purpose; programs outside Australia; capital projects and building works; general operating or recurrent costs; programs seeking 100% of funding without demonstrating future financial support; study programs, conferences, or general fundraising appeals; research projects (except under special circumstances at the discretion of the Board); travel (unless integral to program delivery); retrospective funding requests, general appeals, or commercial sponsorships.
