About This Grant

Community Grants will be allocated in both the traditional and new areas of interest. These areas of interest may continue to evolve. Currently, Gandel Foundation Community Grants are allocated towards six specific Areas of Interest: Arts & Culture; Education; Health & Medical Research; Community Development; Social Cohesion & Inclusion; and Poverty & Disadvantage.

Eligibility

Applicants must have DGR and TCC status. Geared towards small to medium-sized organisations. Preference is given to Victorian organisations, but will consider requests relating to a national or broad focus from organisations in other states.

Legal requirements: Tax Concession Charity (TCC), Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR1)

Exclusions

Individuals; retrospective funding; recurrent administrative costs; continuous funding; programs that duplicate existing services; auspiced applications; government bodies; applications that have been previously unsuccessful; submissions from organisations that have applied to Gandel Foundation in the last 6 months (whether successful or not), or those that have not acquitted previous project(s) funded by us; activities that may be deemed harmful to the community or the environment; personal expenses.
