The Helen and David Hains Foundation (HDHF) provides funding to organisations that assist people to move out of situations of disadvantage. Activities will be supported that enable people to become meaningfully engaged in work, education, culture and community life. Preference is given to activities that deliver direct and demonstrable value to those intended to benefit. Further, the HDHF provides funding for the protection and enhancement of the natural environment, with an emphasis on water ecology, marine ecosystems and coastal areas.
