About This Grant

The HESTA Excellence Awards recognise exceptional achievements in a range of settings across aged care, allied health, community services and disability services. The awards are also intended to raise community awareness of the need for all members of the community to share the responsibility of working towards a more inclusive, compassionate and effective society. There are two award categories: Individual Leadership – recognises an individual who has demonstrated innovative and impactful leadership in delivering initiatives to enhance the health and wellbeing of individuals, families and/or communities; Team Excellence – recognising teams that have developed and/or improved a product, service, process or system to enhance the health and well-being of individuals, families and/or communities. Finalists in the Individual Leadership categories will be invited to attend the HESTA Excellence Awards dinner in?Melbourne on Thursday, 6 August 2026, where the winners will be announced.

Eligibility

Nominated organisations must be currently providing services in aged care, allied health, community services or disability services in Australia. Nominated teams must be currently working in either aged care, allied health, community services or disability services in Australia. Suitable nominees are those that go above and beyond the everyday demands of their role.
