About This Grant
Provides young people in NSW opportunities to connect, socialise, learn new skills, and have fun during the school holidays. It supports the delivery of free activities, including sport and recreation camps, creative, artistic, scientific activities, and more. Five program objectives: address geographical, financial and accessibility barriers to young people enjoying recreational and social activities within their local communities; fully subsidised recreational and social activities; engaging, high-quality activities during the NSW school holidays; activities that encourage play, experimentation, reflection, and expression; free and local activities designed to meet the needs and interests of young people aged 12-24.
Eligibility
Local government organisations, boards or groups; Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCO); incorporated organisation registered as a not-for-profit; Indigenous Corporations; NSW Local Aboriginal Land Councils. Have an Australian bank account; have an Australian Business Number (ABN) that matches the applicant's name in the application form; have appropriate insurance; be located in NSW.

Exclusions
Individuals; Federal and State Government agencies and bodies; NSW educational facilities. Targets club members or a pre-formed social/recreational group without genuine additional invitation or engagement of the wider community aged 12-24; standard operations; includes broader community involvement or participants outside the target age group; essential or core government services; operational costs; predominantly marketing; commercial and/or exclusive private benefit to an individual or business.
