The Foundation supports projects that improve equality of opportunity in the areas of: Education (specifically projects focussing on disadvantage, early childhood and the use of technology); The Arts (including literature and journalism, the performing arts, and arts and health initiatives); Indigenous disadvantage (including projects looking to support children at risk, as well as place-based initiatives). Organisations that assist young people, older people and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, and projects that are based in rural, regional and disadvantaged urban areas of NSW receive priority.

Organisations must be charitable, have DGR (Item 1) status, have an ABN and be incorporated. Projects that are based in rural, regional and/or disadvantaged urban areas of NSW receive priority consideration.
