About This Grant

The Trust seeks to support organisations that are well placed to affect systemic change in the wellness and quality of life of the aged and/or those with, or at risk of, Alzheimer’s disease. Our new Ageing Well strategy is focused on tackling ageism, building connected and compassionate communities, and optimising health (Alzheimer’s research). We are prioritising initiatives that support women over 65, First Nations Elders, regional and remote communities and living and dying in the place called home.

Eligibility

Organisations with both DGR and charitable status with a clearly articulated initiative the demonstrates strong alignment to the Trust's priority areas; work must be undertaken within Australia.

Legal requirements: Tax Concession Charity (TCC), Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR1)

Exclusions

Projects that do not fit the goal of the Trust; projects more suited to corporate sponsorship; projects more suited to government funding; budget deficits; operating expenses or fund raising; annual appeals; core programs funded from other sources; conferences; building costs; equipment, unless integral; transport or vehicles; bodies which are themselves grant-making agencies; bequest programs; contribution to the corpus of another trust; sectarian or religious bodies where services are limited to their own members; individuals.
