About This Grant

The foundation focuses on funding in the areas of the environment and indigenous disadvantage, refugees and overseas development. It has a particular focus on funding campaigns in support of climate action, driven by Sue and John’s concern about the effect climate change will have on the world’s poor, combined with an appreciation of the potential effectiveness of many different types of advocacy. This includes funding strategic litigation by environmental and community groups, as such activity is an important tool in the climate change campaigning toolkit and has a critical role to play as part of an overarching strategy to achieve change.
