About This Grant

The NSW Aboriginal Land Council (NSWALC) provides grants and funding to Local Aboriginal Land Councils (LALCs) and Aboriginal community organisations across New South Wales. Funding supports community infrastructure, economic development, land management, cultural programmes, and capacity building.

NSWALC also manages a significant investment portfolio and provides financial support for land claims, legal services, and policy advocacy on behalf of Aboriginal communities in NSW.

Eligibility

Local Aboriginal Land Councils in NSW and Aboriginal community organisations. Some programmes open to individual Aboriginal people in NSW.

How to Apply

Contact your Local Aboriginal Land Council to understand current funding rounds and eligibility. Applications typically require project plans and budgets.

Barayamal Tip

If you are an Aboriginal organisation in NSW, your Local Aboriginal Land Council is your first port of call. They can advise on NSWALC funding and may have their own small grants programmes too.
