About This Grant

To support not-for-profit organisations, community groups or schools with innovative project ideas, programs or initiatives that will deliver positive outcomes for communities living in close proximity to NSW Ports’ operations at Port Botany, Port Kembla, Enfield Intermodal Logistics Centre and Cooks River Intermodal Terminal. Must create opportunities to foster thriving communities by generating positive outcomes in the areas of: education, health and wellbeing, economic development, environment, arts and culture, social welfare or emergency services.

Eligibility

Australian registered not-for-profit organisations, community groups and schools with an ABN and Australian bank account that have a clear vision and goal to enhance the communities living through projects, programs or initiatives near our operations sites. Eligible projects should be delivered in the following postcodes: Around Port Botany - 2018, 2019, 2020, 2031, 2032, 2033, 2034, 2035, 2036, 2205, 2216, 2217, 2219; Around Port Kembla - 2500, 2502, 2505, 2506, 2518, 2519, 2525, 2526, 2528; Around Enfield Intermodal Logistics Centre - 2133, 2135, 2136, 2190, 2191, 2192, 2195; Around Cooks River Intermodal Terminal - 2044

Legal requirements: Social enterprise, Aboriginal Community-Controlled, Nonprofit legal entity (inc. assn, company, coop. or trust), School

Exclusions

Individuals, hospitals, councils. Do not align with the NSW Ports Community Grants Program eligibility criteria; solely finance salaries; may have a negative impact on NSW Ports' reputation; require unreasonable grant fees; are dangerous, immoral, or political in nature.
