The focus, chosen by the people of Origin, is to support programs that use education to help break the cycle of disadvantage and empower young Australians to reach their potential. Focus of support in the following areas: equality of educational opportunity for First Nations students; equality of educational opportunity for young people living in regional, rural and remote Australia; diversity in STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) education, to prepare students for emerging careers of the future.
