About This Grant

These grants are aimed at helping groups who make a huge difference to those in need, but struggle to find funding through other avenues. They may be ineligible for government assistance, or be too small or lacking the right market appeal to attract the attention of larger organisations, but their causes are no less worthy and their needs are no less real. Grants have been used to support a wide range of people, including those facing poverty and disadvantage, people living with disabilities, at-risk youth, refugees and asylum seekers, First Nations people, those experiencing homelessness or domestic violence, elderly people, and those who have been incarcerated or affected by substance abuse and their families.

Eligibility

The organisation is not-for-profit and has Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) Item 1 status with an annual income of less than $1 million.

Legal requirements: Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR1)
