About This Grant

The Foundation supports: fostering an appreciation of culture and/or sports in schools and homes; enabling access to culture and/or sports for young people who face financial and physical barriers to participation; and developing skills and capability of talented local teachers. The Betty Ward Foundation was established by the late Evelyn Betty Ward in 2016. Betty was deeply committed to the South Australian community and her Foundation continues to support young people and their communities to break the cycle of intergenerational disadvantage.

Eligibility

The Foundation can only consider requests from organisations that: have an Australian Business Number (ABN); are registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC); and are a Deductible Gift Recipient level 1 (DGR1)
