About This Grant

Established to support both the arts and charities that work towards social cohesion. Favouring innovative initiatives in two principal areas: those that improve accessibility to the arts, with the aim of enriching cultural diversity within Australian society; those organisations that assist individuals and communities facing extreme disadvantage. These include programmes that help vulnerable youth, migrants, those facing domestic violence, and those with mental health problems. With initiatives that are in their early stages, their intent is to help these to become established and of such value that they eventually justify Government funding.
