The Foundation believes inspiration and creativity is the province of the many, not the few and is committed to providing opportunities for creative and artistic expression in identified areas of need. Focus areas: refugee women and children; First Nations people; asylum seekers; marginalised individuals and groups; disadvantaged youth and children.

The Foundation believes that the certainty of security of funding is critical to organisations in the arts sector, and therefore, whilst open to funding one-off grants, is keen to build relationships with eligible organisations with a view to: providing multi-year funding for ongoing projects; providing core funding instead of or in addition to funding specific projects. The Foundation is also prepared to provide more than one grant per year to an organisation pursuing multiple projects where such projects come within the focus areas subject to its funding initiatives.
