About this opportunity
Burdekin community and sporting groups can request cash or in-kind support for eligible local activities. Round 2 accepts applications from 1 to 14 October 2026; applications outside the round are not accepted. An event should not be within four weeks of the closing date. Check the council documents and contact its community development team for application assistance.

Cash assistance is capped at AUD $3,000 excluding GST. Incorporated not-for-profit community organisations, or groups with an eligible auspice, must deliver benefit to Burdekin residents. A cash and/or in-kind co-contribution is expected. In-kind council assistance is requested on the separate form.
